Float Therapy
Flotation therapy is a sixty-to-ninety-minute experience in which you float in water that has been mixed with 2000 pounds pure Epsom salt to achieve a sensation of weightlessness.
The flotation takes place in a roomy but enclosed pod 4 foot wide and 8 foot long that is peaceful, dark, and keeps the water at a consistent ninety-five degrees to match your body temperature.
These measures are taken to ensure complete sensory deprivation and promote potential improvements in your mental and physical wellbeing.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR FLOAT…
Hydrate & Snack:
Make sure to drink water and have a light snack beforehand. That way, your tummy won’t be grumbling and distracting you from the tranquility of the float.
Shaving Warning:
Do not shave before entering the pod you’ll feel the burn if you do.
Shower:
Shower on the day of your float to help keep our pod clean. Remove any oils, lotions, perfumes, deodorants, etc. to reduce strain on the filters.
Arrive Early:
Plan to arrive a few minutes early to sit and relax in the waiting area. You want to enter the space feeling calm.
BEFORE YOU DRIFT OFF…
Sound Preferences:
Choose your sound preferences from our menu of float enhancements. You can turn it off anytime during the session.
Ear & Hair Options:
Ear plugs are provided. If you choose to skip them, rinse your ears afterward since salt can accumulate in your ear canal.
Swim caps are also provided, but optional, to protect your hair or keep it dry.
Protect Sensitive Areas:
If you have any nicks or cuts, apply Vaseline or A&D ointment to prevent stinging.
Avoid Touching Your Face:
Remember, the water is SUPER salty. Try not to touch your face. If it gets in your eyes, you will feel the burn.
We have a spray bottle with fresh water and a washcloth next to the pod to help if this happens.
YOUR FLOAT EXPERIENCE…
While you float:
Lay back, relax, and let the saltwater do its work. Listen to your chosen float enhancements, drift into an altered state of consciousness, or even take a nap.
Time is up when the music stops or when the filter kicks on. The water will swirl like a hot tub. Make sure there are no ear plugs, washcloths, or swim caps left in the pod before exiting.
After your float:
Stand up slowly and be mindful that the water in your hair or on your head is salty to avoid getting it in your eyes.
Rinse off using our Tippy Creek products or anything you brought from home. If you did not wear ear plugs, rinse your ears thoroughly.
Enjoy a cup of tea and a light snack in our post-float lounge if you would like.
You will leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Take your time and enjoy the calm as you head to your next destination.
